Anyway, I realized last week that I haven’t updated in a seriously long time, so I’m updating….

Boston
I went to go see my two oldest sisters this weekend, which was loads of fun. The younger of the two was in a play written 400 years ago by a dead white guy in England. She was cast as a barroom wench named Nym. If you don’t know the play (or the playwright, for that matter!) then you seriously need to get out more… Well, stay in more and read classic literature, but you get the gist, right? Well, it was really fun and I got to take a 24 hour trip with frequent flyer points, so I’m happy

Bands!
Ok, so some really amazing, really indie bands that my sister has gotten me obsessed with: Dizzy Balloon, Beirut, Gentlemen Hall. All are amazing! SOOOO GOOD!!! That’s what I’m listening too non-stop
Halloween…
Is upon us! I don’t know why, but I always love this time of year. It’s so… I don’t know, creepy I guess. Now, I’m not talking about the whole “littles kids covering themselves with a sheet and shouting boo!” really, I’m talking just about the fact that it gets darker, it gets quieter, and it’s a lot more inspiring to write about! I just kind of love Halloween….

This Weekend!
One of my few friends that I can talk to about anything and everything, ~ThroughXaXTeensXeye, is coming down for the weekend! Which means she’s coming to Oni-Con with me (WHICH IS SATURDAY! WHOO!!) and to our big rivalry football game. I’m so uber-excited it’s not even funny. Like, sooooo much excitement is inside me right now

The Next Few Months
I start swim team today, which means that for ten hours a week I’ll be swimming, add that with cello, voice, choir, musical rehearsals later in November and multiple papers due for school, I’ll have barely any time. And then you add NaNoWriMo, in which I have to write at least 6 pages a day to get it done, and I’ll be completely and totally undone. So, for the next few months, I’m not going to be able to be on as often as I’d like to be. And, if you see me on for a period longer than 20 minutes, KICK ME OFF! LEAVE A COMMENT ON MY PAGE TELLING ME TO GET OFF THE FREAKIN COMPUTER AND DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE!!! Seriously. Tell me to get off or I never will

Well, that’s about it, I think! Nothing new to report

NaNoWriMo
Basically, for those of you who don’t know yet, NaNoWriMo is short for the National Novel Writing Month. Basically, it’s a challenge to everyone out there to write a 50,000 word or 175 page novel in a month. The winners get bragging rights, the losers feel bad So, this is basically what I’ve been obsessed with for the past day or so. I’m extremely excited about it! I’m using Doomed as the novel I’m writing, since basically ~Brit-TexGrl13 will literally eat me if I don’t get to it at some point, I really do need to get working on it, and I basically haven’t started on it. So go! Be a winner and do it with me! Go sign yourself up! DO IT!

Oni-Con
Anime convention. In Houston. School Anime Club is going. UBER EXCITED! I ordered a Sweet Lolita dress from China, and I really hope it gets here before I die of excitement and over-homework-itis. [link] <-- That’s the dress I bought! It’s so effing adorable I think I might die!

Music
So basically, my older sister had gotten me completely obsessed with all the college bands that her floor is listening to, some of which include Beirut, Bloodhound Gang, [link] <-- That band, which is currently occupying my life, and this one band that is so indie it almost doesn’t exist, Gentleman Hall. Not even on iTunes yet, but my sister got a free CD because her and her friend are pretty *facepalm* ahh, the joys of having pretty family members

To feel, or not to feel? That is the question.

Damn, don’t I wish that I knew the answer. I think that's the real question. Not the meaning of life, oh no, it's to feel or not to feel. If that question was answered by someone, then that person would be the ultimate savior.

It’s a shitty feeling, really, to be so close to feeling something, to be so close to screaming, to be so close to crying, to be so close to anything that you can almost taste it, but be far enough away that you can’t feel a single damn thing.

I could say that at least I haven’t gone mad. I’m still just awkward old me. And I could say that at least I haven’t cried, I’m still just emotionless me. Sometimes, being without all this pain can feel great, even like a miracle, but not all the time.

To sum it up, it’s shitty to feel and not to feel.

I wish I could vanish.
